Founded in 1861, Haverhill Cricket Club has been a major part of Haverhill town for many years. Cricketers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to come along and take part, in any capacity they feel they can contribute.

With a long history steming way back to 1861 the club has seen many changes and is now experiencing a resurgence back to competitive cricket.

Since the 50’s and 60’s the club has seen its original pavilion burnt down and almost dissolved as a competitive club. Since 1997 the club has had a new pavilion built, a new cream of players at senior level and a very busy junior section to ensure that the club is still here in years to come.

The club has had the fortunate backing of the Gurteen family, both financially and practically alongside other long standing commercial sponsors.

The club is striving to work with both the folk of the town and the commercial investors to make Haverhill Cricket Club a success.

In recent years the club’s growth and popularity has resulted in the club adding additional grounds for use by our teams as training facilities and match venues. You can find addresses and other information about each of our grounds below to ensure you arrive at the correct ground!
