2020 Cricket Season has Started!

Finally, on Saturday the 2020 cricket started at Manor Road.

The first game of the season was an inter-club friendly, seeing Liam Botten’s XI take on Craig Williams XI.

Liam’s team opened the batting and posted a score of respectable score of 169/7 within their 40 overs. After a short break for tea and hand washing/sanitising, Craig’s team started their run chase. At the end of their 40 overs the scores were tied at 169.

A great day was had by all who played and all those who came down to support the club and the bar.
